Class Wrap-Up: WAM Carnival (!)

As a fun, end-of-semester activity, I’ve assembled a “WAM Carnival” (adapted from a similar activity created by a professor of mine). Think of this as a digital worksheet that touches on, intersects with, and brings back some of the forms of multimodal composition we played with earlier in the semester.

There are a number activities on the worksheet, downloadable here. Of course you don’t have to do all of these exercises. Pick and choose what interests you, and feel free to work on this either with a partner or individually. While the carnival is designed to get you to cast back and reflect on some of the major themes and ideas in the course, it’s also supposed to be light and fun.

Afterward, we’ll share together as a group with regard to what we learned / wrote / did.
